About the Sports Awards

At Imperial, we're passionate about creating an active, ambitious and aspirational community where people have the opportunity to engage in sports at all levels. The annual Imperial Sports Awards highlights this commitment, offering our athletes the chance to get together and celebrate their achievements.

2025 Ceremony

This year's Sports Awards ceremony took place on 30 May 2025. The event was hosted by Kyran Bracken, former English rugby player and World Cup winner, and the guest speaker was Pheobe Schecter, the first British woman to coach in the NFL. It was a night of celebration and joy for our Imperial Athletes who worked hard all year round and made their teams proud!

Winners included our Team and Club of the year - IC Fencing M1s and ICSM Netball - and our Sportsman and Sportswoman of the year - Lachlan Jarvie and Laura Ellington, among a whole range of others.
