Nov 2020 - Group Meeting on Teams. Not an event per se, but we had a nice tiled 10-person teams meeting, so we decided to share how we're getting along these troubled times. Hoping for a return to in-person meetings soon!

Jun 2020 - The Eslava Group has been awarded a pump-priming grant by the Insitute for Molecular Science and Engienereing (IMSE), studying oxide perovskites using computational techniques for solar-to-fuel conversion. Our postdoc Dr Miriam Regue will be taking charge!

Mar 2020 - Group Lunch with MSc Students. A twist on the regular Wednesday group lunches, we had a larger one with MSc students! All of this topped off with a nice coffee in the Departmental Common Room!

Jan 2020 - Chinese New Year Lunch. A quick celebration by getting a Chinese takeaway, but it's all about the intention! Popped down to Stick and Bowl on High Street Kensington and got the chance to know a bit more about one of the nearby restaurants!
Dec 2019 - Here we have the group (minus Santosh) celebrating the end of the year with a classic pub Christmas dinner at the Hereford Arms! All donned their Christmas jumpers, even if some had to do an emergency shopping trip to Primark, and Salva had to wear the punishment elf hat for not making the effort!
Dec 2019 - The lab continues to be expanded! We bring in a new glove box, a new GC-MS-BID cromatograph and we will install a new Solartron potentiostat!
